Senior QA Automation Engineer
EasySend is a no-code platform for building and optimizing digital customer journeys. We transform paperwork-based processes in insurance, banking, and financial services into streamlined, engaging digital experiences.
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive quality across our SaaS platform through robust automation strategies. This is a hands-on role embedded within the R&D department, focused on building, maintaining, and scaling automation frameworks—including the use of Playwright and AI-enhanced testing approaches.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for frontend and backend components
- Integrate AI-based tools and practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define quality standards
- Analyze requirement specifications and develop corresponding test plans
- Write and execute UI, API, and integration tests using modern frameworks and tools
- Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring high product reliability and performance
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) workflows and tooling
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software QA automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Python or similar UI automation tools
- Experience with API testing (REST, WebSocket)
- Proficiency in scripting and test development in cloud-native environments
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and test lifecycle
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience incorporating AI/ML tools into the QA process (e.g., for test prioritization, anomaly detection, or visual validation)
- Experience with GitOps and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools
