Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Your role will involve conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, and providing education and counseling to patients and their families. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited educational institution
- Proven experience as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Sound understanding of diagnostic tests and interpreting their results
- Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Compassion and empathy in providing patient-centered care
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping

Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, from infants to elderly, with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Take detailed medical histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and EKGs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
- Prescribe medication and provide appropriate follow-up care
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Stay updated on current medical research, best practices, and advancements in the field of family practice nursing
