GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The LPN provides excellent care in an occupational healthcare clinic for clients in a manufacturing facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Support physician in clinical and administrative functions

  • Clinical:

  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and report findings to physician

  • Record patient’s assessments into an Electronic Medical Record

  • Assist with medical procedures

  • Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment (e.g. O2 therapy, etc.)

  • Keep exam rooms clean, disinfected and stocked with supplies needed for examinations

  • Administrative:

  • Maintains patient flow in accordance with onsite visits that present on an as needed basis

  • Make the medical visit a positive and supportive experience for each patient

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current nursing license to practice in the state for which you are applying

  • Current BLS certification

  • Ability to create a patient-first attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for patients

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

Onsite Occupational Clinic in a Manufacturing Facility. Office enviroment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following physical activities: Ability to lift minimum of 1 pounds to a maximum of 20 pounds unassisted; able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting, and use full range of body motions. Ability to use computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time (hand/finger dexterity) to meet performance goals and submit deliverables within deadlines.
