About the Role
Pagaya is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, dedicated associate to support the Chief Development Officer & Chair of the Advisory Board in advancing the creation of new strategic partnerships and connections to drive long-term growth. This role will be pivotal in conducting research on external opportunities to further Pagaya’s connections, sourcing potential advisory board candidates, and ensuring effective communication with external partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
This job is a short-term contract position from September 3 2024 - December 31, 2024
Responsibilities
- Research and Candidate Sourcing:
- Identify and research potential candidates for the board and advisory board positions.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and initiate outreach efforts.
- Follow-ups and Coordination:
- Manage follow-up communications with potential candidates and board members.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the Chair of the Advisory Board.
- Communication Management:
- Craft and distribute quarterly newsletters & other communication touchpoints to our external network and stakeholders.
- Ensure all communication touchpoints are engaging, informative, and reflect the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Conference and Event Preparation:
- Assist in preparing for all of the CDO’s external conferences, meetings, and events related to board activities.
- Strategic Support:
- Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to identify opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 1-3 years post graduation experience
- Experience supporting senior executives a plus
- Self starter who is inquisitive, intuitive, and multi-tasked oriented
- Strong interpersonal, project management and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with minimal supervision
- Experienced at handling confidential matters and sensitive situations with discretion. This position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.
Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
