The Opportunity

The Onboarding Coordinator will be responsible for creating a best-in-class experience for all Akido Labs Companies new hires as they approach their first day with the organization. This role manages the handoff process, confirming that all necessary documentation, systems access, and first-day logistics are in place. They serve as the primary point of contact for new employees leading up to their start date, providing guidance and answering questions. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn HR administration in high-growth start-up environment.

What you’ll do

This role would be responsible for the hand-off from Recruitment to Onboarding which includes:

  • Liaising with the TA team to ensure all offers are being tracked and entered into Rippling
  • Welcoming all new hires and sending an initial email with Rippling administration instructions.
  • Monitoring admin in Rippling and helping new hires with the process.
  • Ensuring all candidates are aware of where their first day will be and have all questions answered ahead of time.
  • Coordinating with IT to ensure all new hires will have equipment ready on or before the candidates first day.
  • Ensuring Hiring Managers are creating a first week agenda for the new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or another relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting business administration or playing a support role for a team.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience with customer service.
  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed using new technologies and navigating information systems. .
Salary range
$18,000$23,000 USD
