Role’s Mission

The mission of the Credit Risk Manager is to design and supervise the underwriting credit policy, credit line assignment policy and customer management strategy in order to develop and execute a comprehensive risk monitoring framework to meet the company’s delinquency and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include monitoring the performance of the multiple segments of our portfolio, developing and enforcing risk management frameworks, defining and continuously improving the underwriting and line assignment policies, developing and testing new credit strategies and alternative data sources, all while coordinating cross-functionally with Analytics, Data Science, Product and Growth teams to successfully prioritize and push new initiatives, align the business strategy and unify the risk management approach.

Requirements

Must have

• Experience: Experience at analytics or risk teams in Credit/Underwriting companies, preferably fintech or start-ups.
• Years of experience: 3+
• Technical skills: SQL, Statistics, Credit Analysis, Project Management
• Soft skills: Stakeholder Management, Analytical Thinking, Strategic Decision Making
• Academic background (studies or certifications): BS or MS in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.

Nice to have

• Experience evaluating underwriting models and creating valuation models
• Experience working at fintechs or high growth start-ups
• Experience working with multilingual cross-functional teams
