Key responsibilities

  • Be the business leader within the territory to drive financial performance, both top and bottom line balancing operational and commercial priorities.
  • Financial planning and resource allocation (budget, time and people), including continued investment decisions as conditions change.
  • Define and execute strategies to expand and win market share in the territory.
  • Lead a commercial team to build the best merchant selection within a large and complex geo.
  • Be the voice for your team and stakeholders to guarantee efficient work with cross functional teams such as marketing, operations, and product to develop the best customer experience.
  • Define and lead change management initiatives along with the team to ensure adaptability for the business, merchants and customers' needs.
  • Develop and lead expansion plans for specific accounts to guarantee effectiveness and operational success.


Must have

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience across operations, sales or account management and 1+ years managing teams within the same business areas.
  • Academic background: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Technical skills: strong proficiency in excel / sheets
  • Soft skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and commercial skills - you will need to know how to build and maintain relationships with merchants.
  • Strong people management skills - you set the tone for your team; driving towards results while also being empathetic to their challenges. Strong emotional intelligence that will help you take smart decisions and navigate through ambiguous scenarios.
  • Disciplined organizational skills - you’ll need to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing processes and projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in SQL (highly valuable).
  • Experience working in tech companies and/or retail.
  • Experience managing P&Ls.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Hubspot.
