Role’s Mission

The People Sr. Manager is responsible for managing diverse People functions and processes within the organization. This role involves overseeing employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee development and people operations. The People Sr. Manager ensures that the organization's human capital serves the best interests of the business while promoting a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Performance Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers, addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring fair application of company policies.
  • Oversee performance management, including goal setting, evaluations, feedback, and the development of improvement plans.
  • Compliance & Policy Management:
  • Ensure People practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Training & Development:
  • Manage TNA (Training Needs Analysis) company wide processes when required.
  • Design and implement training and leadership development programs to address skills gaps and support employee career growth.
  • HR Data & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate People records, analyze key metrics, and provide regular updates to management to inform decision-making.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
  • Develop strategies to enhance engagement, coordinate programs, and implement retention initiatives.
  • People Operations & Office Management:
  • Supervise the operational processes managed by the team, such as payroll, incentive management and benefits.

  • Lead and support People team projects, provide employee relations coaching, and contribute to workforce planning and organizational design.

Requirements

Must have

  • Experience: 5 or more years of progressive experience in People / Human Resources roles.
  • Previous work experience in Tech or start-ups.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving, creative thinking, analytical and adaptability.

Nice to have

  • Learning & Development background.
  • Academic background (studies or certifications): Certifications in Human Resources and People Analytics.

  • Spanish
  • English: Advanced (Bilingual)
