Role’s Mission

The Account Management Lead is responsible for growing and developing new and existing strategic accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and maximizing revenue. This role requires a high level of analytical thinking to identify new opportunities, negotiate with merchants, and support the Account Management team in driving client success.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive strategic account growth by maximizing revenue, retention, and expansion opportunities through data-driven strategies and strong client partnerships.
  • Lead key merchant relationships by managing high-impact negotiations, securing long-term agreements, and serving as the primary escalation point.
  • Develop and mentor the Account Management team, tracking KPIs and implementing training programs to enhance performance and client success.
  • Leverage analytics to optimize account strategies, improve forecasting, and ensure alignment with business objectives across internal teams.

Requirements

Must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, client success, or strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical mindset to evaluate data, identify patterns, and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience in merchant negotiations, contract management, and relationship building.
  • Proven success in growing key accounts and achieving revenue expansion targets.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams to achieve high performance.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, fintech, or payment processing industries.

Nice to have:

  • Experience using CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Power BI, SQL, Excel Advanced Level).
  • Previous experience managing enterprise accounts in the fintech or digital payments space.
  • Background in Fintech, financial services, BNPL, or SaaS.
