Role’s Mission
The Acquisition Growth Manager is responsible for designing and executing high-quality insights, strategies, projects, and experiments that generate significant growth in new user acquisition, in accordance with company-wide OKRs. This will involve in-depth analysis of complex business data across different company teams and functions, including but not limited to Marketing, CRM, Paid, Product, and Credit.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets to generate deep insights and understanding of Aplazo’s products, user behavior, acquisition channels, and risk metrics, specifically as they relate to new user growth.
- Design and implement advanced experiments based on exploratory data analysis, testing hypotheses related to new user acquisition, tracking experiment results, and reporting on findings with actionable recommendations.
- Monitor, optimize, and report on key company metrics related to new user acquisition, and make recommendations or directly implement strategies based on analytical findings to drive user growth.
- Design and execute strategic projects to drive insights that lead directly to significant company growth through new user acquisition, in accordance with OKRs.
- Work closely with marketing, product, credit/risk, and operations teams to anticipate analytics needs and quantify the impact of existing and future initiatives, projects, processes, products, or features on new user acquisition.
- Build advanced analytic features and custom reports to analyze, track, and provide insights on company OKRs and other relevant KPIs across teams, specifically focusing on new user acquisition performance.
- Develop robust frameworks, models, tools, and processes to ensure that analytical insights related to new user acquisition are deeply incorporated into all key decision-making processes.
- Effectively present and communicate complex analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to drive business decisions related to new user acquisition.
- Lead efforts to automate Marketing insights and processes related to acquisition, and optimize communication channels for new user onboarding and engagement.
Requirements
Must have:
Experience:
- Work experience in analytics, finance, operations, strategy or other areas that require working with data, preferably on Tech companies.
Years of experience: 3 to 5 years of experience
Technical skills:
- Advanced SQL
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Intermediate to advanced BI tools Knowledge, preferably Google Looker Studio
- Intermediate to advanced statistics
- Basic to intermediate understanding of data science models with business applications
Soft skills:
- Data-Driven mind-set (is able to back up business actions on data, is able to think through ways to structure data that translate into high quality, actionable insights)
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to devise comprehensive growth strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
- Self learner (able to leverage any and all resources available to overcome challenges and close learning gaps)
- Cross-team collaboration (Is able to connect the dots across different teams and how the interactions of such teams combine to generate company growth)

Academic background (studies or certifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytic field (marketing, business, finance, data science, etc.) or an engineering degree.
- In the absence of a bachelor’s degree or a degree in a different field, relevant work experience is necessary.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge on Python and/or R programming with business applications
- Business analytics or data science for business certification (diplomado)
