The Sales Business Analyst plays a key role in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing performance, and informing strategy through reporting, modeling, and clear, executive-level presentations.
This role is critical to ensuring the Sales team operates with focus and clarity—connecting data with strategic action, enabling better planning, and tracking impact through continuous follow-up.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze internal, market, and client data using advanced BI tools (Google Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to extract insights that inform commercial strategy.
- Generate and present strategic recommendations and business cases to sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead and co-develop strategic initiatives with commercial and client teams, providing data-backed analysis to measure and optimize outcomes.
- Create actionable client proposals informed by sales KPIs, unit economics, and campaign budget performance.
- Manage large datasets and automate recurring reporting to improve speed and reliability of insights.
Requirements
Must have
- Experience:
- Experience across sales, marketing, or procurement. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to drive commercial decision-making and enjoys building high-quality, strategic initiatives that solve complex business problems.
- Years of experience: +2
- Technical skills:
- Advanced Excel (Office) and Google Sheets (G-Suite)
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL
- Intermediate Python (for automation and analysis)
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Google Looker, Power BI
- Soft skills:
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills using data
- Proactive, highly self-motivated, and adaptable to change
- Strong process improvement mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
