Role’s Mission
The Marketing Specialist brings Aplazo’s B2B marketing strategy to life by coordinating merchant campaigns, supporting KAMs, ensuring consistent brand execution, and delivering actionable insights that enhance merchant engagement and accelerate commercial growth.The primary objective is to attract and convert strategic merchants, strengthen Aplazo’s reputation as a key business growth partner
Key responsibilities
1. Merchant Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for Aplazo’s merchants, ensuring timely delivery and quality across all touchpoints.
- Coordinate and oversee campaign calendars, tracking milestones and ensuring flawless execution from planning to post-mortem.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration with KAMs and Growth
- Work closely with KAMs to understand merchant needs, upcoming promotions, and commercial opportunities.
- Translate commercial objectives into actionable marketing initiatives and materials.
- Serve as a bridge between Marketing and Sales/Partnerships to ensure alignment on messaging, timelines, and expectations.
3. Merchant Communication & Enablement
- Develop, adapt, and deliver marketing materials such as pitch decks, POP , digital assets, email communications, and co-branded content.
- Ensure all materials align with Aplazo’s brand guidelines and communicate value clearly to merchants.
- Support KAMs with marketing toolkits, updated assets, and seasonal promotional kits.
4. Event & Partnerships
- Support the planning and execution of Aplazo´s participation in events, trade shows, activations, speaking opportunities, sponsorships, etc.
- Coordinate participation in trade shows, industry forums, and partner events
- Create post-event summaries and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Brand Alignment & Consistency
- Ensure consistent application of Aplazo’s brand voice and visual identity across all merchant-facing materials, act as the brand´s guardian in on and offline communications.
6. Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Track campaign performance, merchant engagement metrics, and key KPIs.
- Prepare post-campaign reports with insights, learnings, and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to elevate campaign effectiveness and merchant satisfaction.
7. Process Optimization, Proactive Contribution Tools & Analytics
- Identify process gaps, workflow improvements, and new ways to scale merchant marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with growth and field operations teams.
- Analyze campaign, event, and channel performance metrics, budget optimization
Requirements
Must have
- Experience: in B2B marketing, ideally in fintech, SaaS, ecommerce, or retail tech.
- Years of experience: +4 years
- Technical skills: G-Suite (or Office), Hubspot, Asana
- Soft Skills: Strategic thinking, communication skills, strong analytical mindset, interpersonal skills, creativity, and storytelling ability.
- Academic background (studies or certifications): Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fields.
Nice to have
- Experience in performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn).
- Experience with customer marketing and loyalty programs.
- Experience in pop, branding materials & event planning and execution
Languages:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (advanced).
