Internship Mission
As a Marketing Summer Intern, your mission is to help Aplazo assess and shape a Retail Media / Financial Media opportunity by leveraging our first-party data and BNPL ecosystem (app/web/CRM). You will support the sizing of the opportunity, definition of the value proposition, and creation of an initial go-to-market and product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Aplazo’s first-party data and BNPL ecosystem to identify monetization opportunities
- Size the Retail Media / Financial Media opportunity using top-down and bottom-up approaches
- Define an initial Retail Media value proposition (formats, audiences, use cases)
- Research benchmarks and best practices (Retail Media networks, AdTech / FinTech monetization models)
- Develop first strategic recommendations on:
- business model
- advertising products
- go-to-market approach
- Create and iterate an executive-level deck with insights and actionable recommendations
- Work closely with the Marketing team and key internal stakeholders (high visibility project)
Requirements
- MBA candidate or equivalent graduate program (available full-time during summer)
- Background or strong interest in business, strategy, marketing, consulting, or analytics
- Strong analytical and structured thinking (ability to frame ambiguous problems)
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint / Google Slides) and clear executive communication
- Comfortable working with data in Excel / Google Sheets
Nice to Have
- Interest or exposure to Retail Media, AdTech, digital monetization models, FinTech, or data-driven platforms
- Familiarity with CRM/app/web funnels or digital product metrics
- Basic SQL or analytics tools familiarity
