About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Team Leader to manage our in-house DevOps team and take full ownership of our cloud environments—from development to production. This is a high-impact leadership role, instrumental in shaping our DevOps strategy, scaling our infrastructure, and enabling fast, secure, and reliable software delivery across AU10TIX.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow AU10TIX’s in-house DevOps team, fostering a strong engineering culture and implementing best practices.
• Own end-to-end DevOps processes across all environments (DEV, QA, STG, SNBת PROD).
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on Azure.
• Develop and enforce CI/CD pipelines and configuration management using Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitHub and related tools.
• Support development teams with platform integration, environment configuration, security, and networking.
• Monitor system performance, proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, and ensure high availability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks to improve reliability and reduce toil.
• Drive cloud cost optimization strategies and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including periodic testing.
• Provide on-call production support on a rotation basis.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading DevOps teams, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing processes.
• 10+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in cloud-native environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services (mandatory).
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitHub and CI/CD methodologies.
• Solid scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Shell, or JavaScript (Node.js) (strong advantage).
• Proven experience managing and optimizing cloud cost and usage.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed cloud environments.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tooling.
• Familiarity with web hosting architectures (IIS, K8s, networking principles).
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
