Build at Auger
Auger is the autonomous operating system for supply chains — the layer that finally allows disparate systems like ERP, WMS, and TMS to work together instead of against each other.
Most supply chain software surfaces problems and waits for a human to act. Auger solves them. Our AI detects disruptions, evaluates trade-offs, and executes decisions automatically — moving from signal to action in seconds, not weeks. We eliminate the Coordination Tax: the billions in capital and time lost when disconnected systems force the best people in the business to become the Human API between planning and execution.
At Auger, we design autonomy into our systems. We expect the same from our people.
That means:
- Clear ownership, not decision by consensus
- First principles over inherited patterns
- Shipping systems, not slide decks
- Fast feedback from reality, not opinions
If you want to build, ship, and iterate against reality, Auger is for you.
Auger was founded by Dave Clark and is backed by $150M from Oak HC/FT and Eclipse Capital. Our team works from Bellevue, WA and Dallas, TX.
About the Team & Role
Auger is building the operating system for supply chain, and that requires the same kind of coordination we're eliminating for our customers: dozens of teams, competing priorities, and technical complexity that needs someone who can hold the whole picture in view. As Senior TPM, you bring structure to that ambiguity and make sure critical initiatives actually land.
This role requires real technical depth, not just process fluency. You'll work directly with engineers and architects to understand tradeoffs, partner with leadership across engineering, product, and business to align priorities, and drive execution with the urgency this work demands.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.
- Work closely with engineers and architects to understand technical challenges, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
- Partner with leadership across engineering, product, and business functions to align priorities and resolve roadblocks.
- Develop and refine processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency across engineering and product teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively to keep execution on track before problems become fires.
- Define key success metrics and provide clear, regular updates on project status, risks, and performance to leadership.
- Use AI tools natively in how you work: automating status tracking, surfacing risks earlier, and speeding up the busywork of coordination so you can spend more time solving the actual problem.
- Foster strong communication across teams, keeping everyone aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on architecture, tradeoffs, and dependencies.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proven track record driving process improvements and program execution strategies.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership and executive teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, running scrums, and software development lifecycle processes.
- An AI-native working style. You use AI tools to move faster and cut coordination overhead, with the judgment to know where automation helps and where it doesn't.
