Brightline provides virtual child and adolescent mental health services across all 50 states. We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as a Medical Director to help us continue to expand Behavioral Health Access Nationwide! At Brightline, our Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists partner with many cross-functional teams to support continual growth and delivery of our virtual care model!
Why You Are Excited About The Role:
Exceptional Care:
Manage a caseload and provide comprehensive care services to children and teens as part of a multidisciplinary team
Provide psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management.
Ensure a high standard of care in all aspects of service delivery
Document work meticulously, including session notes, care plans, and progress in the electronic health record
Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to the psychiatry team (e.g APRN’s, pediatricians, psychiatrists, and prescribers), as well as to coaches and therapists
Adhere to collaborative practice agreement guidelines
Conduct office hours, case reviews, and ensure the team's adherence to quality practices
Ensure that prescribing clinicians are adhering to all policies & procedures and a high overall quality of care
Identify core areas of improvement for psychiatry service delivery
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineers, Product, Care Operations, Care Quality) for feature enhancements
Participate in testing and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery
Engage in testing and feedback sessions across Brightline care delivery and product teams
Support Innovation and Growth:
Acquire new state licenses (with administrative support and financial sponsorship)
Contribute to the growth and development of the organization through active participation in innovation initiatives, including identifying innovation opportunities

Clinical Expertise:
Board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive Psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for a diverse range of mental health concerns in pediatric patients
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to incorporate a pathway-driven approach to delivering high-quality and evidence-based care to members and families
Experience leading pediatric mental health clinical services:
Proficient in guiding and inspiring teams through mentorship, fostering trust, and cultivating a growth-oriented mindset for personal and collective development
Passionate about cultivating inclusive cultures, emphasizing clinical excellence, and establishing a safety-oriented, blame-free environment
A commitment to spearheading and fostering innovation in delivering care:
Passionate for leading technology-driven, state-of-the-art care delivery models that enable our mission of building a bright future for every child and teen
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and clinical operations) to establish innovative care delivery models
Dedicated to bridging practice gaps by exploring new methodologies and continually seeking improved care models
Proficiency in balancing risk for change while ensuring patient safety and legal compliance
Technically Literate & Adaptable:
Comfort with scalable approaches to care delivery and innovation using telehealth
An innate comfort and familiarity with using various technologies and tools, coupled with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms or software
Ability to pivot and adapt to changing technological landscapes, adopting new tools or processes quickly to optimize workflow and productivity
Capability to foster clear and concise communication in a remote setting, ensuring team members are well-informed, engaged, and aligned on objectives

Compensation Philosophy:
At Brightline we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, competitive, geo-based compensation that is performance and potential based. Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act this is a part time or full-time, salaried position. The annual part-time salary will be equivalent to $124,800 - $176,800.
