About the Role:

Brightline brings behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where they need it. You have the exciting opportunity to be a critical part in advancing the Brightline model from virtual-only to hybrid virtual/brick and mortar, launching next year.

In this role, you’ll use your expertise in relationship-building and engagement to promote Brightline’s offerings, establish connections with community partners, and empower families to access care. This is a hybrid role and we are looking for individuals who reside in Brooklyn, Westchester or Long Island, NY.

Strategic Leadership in Community, Parent, and Family Outreach:

  • Develop and execute a high-impact outreach strategy to engage families, community-based organizations, and schools in Nassau County and surrounding areas.

  • Cultivate relationships with senior-level stakeholders in healthcare, education, and community organizations to foster collaboration and referrals.

  • Leverage an established professional network within school systems (parents, teachers, administration, etc.) to promote Brightline’s offerings.

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify influential community leaders and organizations, leveraging tools such as LinkedIn, district websites, and local directories.

Marketing and Partnership Development:

  • Design culturally and demographically tailored outreach and marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of Brightline’s services.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling materials and campaigns that resonate with Nassau counties diverse family population.

  • Create and implement a partnership strategy to establish Brightline as a trusted resource in the community, focusing on mutual referrals and long-term collaboration.

Community Activation and Advocacy:

  • Represent Brightline at high-profile events, such as school fairs, PTA meetings, and community forums, to promote child mental well-being.

  • Organize and lead webinars, workshops, and educational sessions to engage parents, caregivers, and educators.

  • Serve as a visible advocate for Brightline’s mission, building trust and credibility with families and community stakeholders.

Performance Management and Reporting:

  • Define and track key performance metrics, including outreach success rates, activations, and service adoption levels.

  • Regularly present progress, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine strategies based on data-driven insights and community feedback.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively gather feedback from families, parents, and community organizations to refine engagement strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for new programs, content, and materials to address evolving community needs.

  • Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices and insights to enhance Brightline’s regional engagement efforts.

  • Previous experience in community engagement, mental health initiatives, family outreach in a high-growth startup setting.

  • Expertise in building and executing strategies that resonate with diverse demographics and cultural groups.

  • Deep knowledge of school systems, school-based programs, and child mental well-being advocacy.

  • Exceptional track record of success in relationship-building, cold outreach, and high-touch nurture campaigns.

  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and make data-informed decisions.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and event facilitation.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with agility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and research tools to identify and connect with key stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of pediatric mental health and related services is highly desirable

Compensation Philosophy:

  • At Brightline we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, competitive, geo-based compensation that is performance and potential based. Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $77,000-$100,000.
