Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for an Accounting Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has a passion for processes and documentation that will help us scale for the projected growth of Brightline. A true team player that enjoys working in a highly collaborative, cross functional environment to drive results. This is a unique opportunity for the right person that wants to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done. This role is for an accountant that wants to do more than just debits and credits - you will build automations, work with business partners on analyses and automations, create reporting packages and many other projects.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Cycle & Healthcare Accounting Expertise:
Partner with Revenue Cycle Management on the process and potential automation of reconciling claims and payment data across our internal systems Reef, Candid, and NetSuite.
Oversee and execute accurate revenue recognition in alignment with GAAP and Brightline’s healthcare reimbursement models
Data-Driven & Strategic Finance Partnership:
Partner with FP&A to develop reports, explain trends, and provide data insights to ensure accurate and timely forecasts.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
Lead traditional accounting functions for the month-end close and ensuring accuracy.
Improve cash and balance sheet reconciliation processes, documentation, and timeliness.
Create scalable, cross-functional processes across the business to support growth and audit readiness.
Internal Controls, Compliance & Governance:
Analyze, maintain, and strengthen the internal controls framework across the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of experience
Knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition and lease accounting
Experience with healthcare claims billing
Proven history of automating manual processes and creating efficiencies
Comfortable level working with multiple business partners - this is not just a behind the scenes accounting job
Advanced MS Excel skills

It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $100,000-$140,000.
