About the Role:

Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a Part-Time Clinical Psychologist to deliver onsite psychological testing services. This position is based in Westchester, NY (White Plains). The clinic is located near public transportation and adjacent to other medical offices and professional buildings, making it easily accessible for both providers and families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations to support the delivery of evidence-based care for youth up to age 18 (ongoing care to be provided by other team members)

  • Conduct psychological testing, for common concerns for youth, including learning disorders, executive functioning needs, and autism spectrum disorders.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in peer consultation, and engaging in continuous professional development

  • Participating in community engagement & outreach opportunities

  • Contributing to the development of the testing service line

Requirements:

  • Availability for at least 15 hours of work per week.

    • At least half of available hours should be in the morning to meet our testing scheduling needs and recommendations

  • Unrestricted license to practice at the doctoral level in the state of New York

  • Extensive experience in psychological testing across a variety of tests

    • Strong candidates are

      • Able to think critically about battery selection

      • Trained in digital administration of tests when available

      • Trained in the ADOS-2, in addition to self/other reported questionnaire interpretation and ASD-focused interviews to support autism evaluations.

  • Strong knowledge of current clinical research and a commitment to staying updated on the latest empirical advancements

  • A clear understanding and deep commitment to ethical standards of care

  • Experience providing care both in-person for testing (appointments may be virtual for some diagnostic evaluations and feedback sessions, depending on clinical appropriateness and family preference)

  • Interest and experience thriving in a start-up environment

This role is compensated on an hourly basis, with total annual earnings expected to range from $62,400–$78,000 for a part-time schedule of approximately 15 hours per week. Compensation is based on licensure, experience, and internal equity.
