The Role:
The Embroidery Manager is responsible for managing, planning and coordinating daily operations, task planning, designing and scheduling of production initiatives.
What You'll Do:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty as assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies
- Supervise 15+ employees, including work allocation, training & problem resolution.
- Motivate employees to achieve peak productivity & performance.
- Manage all production-related expenses and drive towards maximizing revenue.
- Participate in developing and implementing departmental/company innovation & strategic initiatives, to achieve performance goals and continue business growth.
- Manage all Digitizing logos for Production to ensure top efficiency & embroidery quality.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

What You've Done:
- High school diploma or GED; 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience as Embroidery Machine Operator
- Ability to meet established production and quality standards
- Ability to use U.S. Customary ruler for making measurements
- Superior hand/eye coordination
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and reach for entire shift
- Hand and finger dexterity needed for small movements
- Ability to work well in a small, collaborative team
Physical Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Job is performed within a non-climate controlled distribution center environment where there may be temperature variations depending on weather conditions
- Overtime may be required during periods of heavy workloads and during seasonal peak periods
- Fast paced working environment
- Job requires standing, walking, bending and stooping for extended periods
- Job requires climbing steps and working on elevated work surfaces
- Routine exposure to loud noises
