About the role:

You are a casualty claims subject matter expert and partner in the field with our Sales and Customer Success teams to help CLARA win new business. This role specializes in demonstrating software solutions to prospective customers, driven by an understanding of the customer’s claims process and where CLARA Analytics’ product portfolio aligns to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate will be a confident presenter who is passionate about claims handling and has experience handling difficult questions from claims experts. The candidate must be motivated to learn new skills and technology, as well as focused on the client experience – helping our clients (current and pursuit) achieve the best possible outcome for their business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the demo environment experience.
• Communicate credibly and effectively with clients in order to understand their challenges and provide guidance, education and consultation to help improve their business.
• Lead product demonstrations with customers and prospects to help convey the value of CLARA’s products and clearly respond to questions.
• Collaborate with sales and customer success partners to develop strategic account plans.
• Demonstrate deep product and content knowledge, act as an internal resource for sales, marketing and product development.
• Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations
• Gather desired feature/function intelligence from customers for future development & roadmaps.
• Help grow and scale our product by providing valuable insurance expertise to our technical Product Managers, Engineers and Data scientists.
• Build product knowledge through training, self-directed research / testing, and working with senior team members
• Develop an expertise within our provided software solutions, and be able to communicate and train others with that expertise, both internally and externally
• Participate in detailed value analysis discussions as part of new product development.
• Be a key member in business validation of the data science models and a key participant in go live decisions.
• Participate in User acceptance tests and provide relevant feedback to the product and engineering teams

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years experience of handling casualty claims (Workers Compensation and/or Liability) as an adjuster at a P&C insurance carrier
• Experience handling complex and/or litigated files with plaintiff attorney interaction is preferred
• Prior experience managing claims teams desired.
• Detailed knowledge of insurance principles, terminology, customs and practices in Auto, General Liability and/or Workers Compensation (multiple lines preferred)
• Experience working executive level management
• Strong relationship-building.
• In-depth understanding of data capture and workflow within core claims systems (such as Guidewire or Origami Risk)
• Up to 50% travel at industry conferences and/or customer headquarters in the USA

Additional Requirements:

• InsurTech/Claims Industry experience is a plus.
• AI/ML/LLM understanding is a plus.
• Understanding of data integration is a plus.
