Summary
The marketing manager focuses on account management, building partner relationships, developing, and delivering quality marketing materials that adhere to brand standards and supporting the curation of member journey mapping and retention.
Account Management:
- Work collaboratively with marketing team, plan leaders, executive team, and sales team to adapt or create new marketing tactics, deliverables, messaging, and design to support member retention and growth and meet external stakeholder’s expectations and maintaining brand standards
- Interpret creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style guidelines, and consistency in messaging across all marketing channels.
- Ensure all marketing efforts comply with industry regulations, including CMS regulations, and collaborate with legal teams to mitigate risks
- Monitor brand perception and implement strategies for enhancement
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Track KPIs, and generate reports to assess the success of marketing initiatives
- Manage brand budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Create and manage project timelines for assigned plan marketing deliverables
- Recommend marketing processes/workflow efficiencies related to role
- Properly track and document approvals for plan marketing deliverables
- Curate and lead bi-weekly to monthly partner presentations for assigned plans providing meeting minutes and action items to align marketing goals and project deadlines (Approximately 4 meetings a month)
Content Curation and Management:
- Responsible for collaborating on content for our wholly owned health plan, Align Senior Care to support objectives and desired identity
- Manage and suggest annual updates to brand identity, including color palette, hero images, and messaging to stay competitive with industry trends
- Responsible for managing the content and design for provider educational collateral for Align Senior Care, including newsletters, and email campaigns
- Create and manage marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions for assigned plans via
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, graphic designers, product development, sales, etc.) to ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, and brainstorm and develop content ideas that support marketing campaigns and initiative
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually innovate content strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing Director and other leaders to shape brand voice, position, member journey maps and personas for business to consumer facing products
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and maintain an internal communication strategy for internal and external partners (Sales agents, brokers, providers, etc.)
- Utilize resources like HubSpot, cHello, Splashbrands
- Become an expert of Medicare Marketing Guidelines from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
Digital Management
- Provide creative design input to improve the Align Senior Care website
- Audit website content and remove duplicate information based off department and compliance requests
- Manage digital marketing campaigns and reporting in collaboration with Marketing Director and contracted agencies
Qualifications
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced environment with quick turn arounds
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to problem-solve
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or English or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within health insurance industry
- Strong understanding of brand development principles and marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as Hubspot, Vimeo, GA4, Monday.com, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Word Press
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a demanding environment
- Leadership experience and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Experience in project management, ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- 3-5 years of progressive marketing or account management experience with internal and external stakeholders, and/or vendors
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing and/or advertising
- Proficiency in
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations or healthcare marketing a plus
- Available to travel 10-15% each year

- Proven record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to influence and advise plan clients and leaders and deliver presentations in an impactful manner

- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail; a keen eye for proofreading preferred
- Be flexible; manage change in a positive and collaborative manner
