Summary
To enable Curana Health’s growth and performance, the Senior Living team is seeking a high-performing Analyst to help refine our operating model and develop our growth strategy. This role will be pivotal in improving the department’s analytics and reporting capabilities to identify strategic opportunities for growth or process improvement. Additionally, this individual will play a central role in executing on proposed strategies and enterprise initiatives. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role in the continuous development of our operating model and product strategy in the senior space.
This is a remote position, but preference will be given to candidates residing Chicago IL, Austin TX, or Richmond VA.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the ongoing development of our “playbook” in senior living by supporting the creation of new processes and development of internal and external training materials
- Build department-wide dashboards by sourcing necessary data and working with the team to identify or create the most pertinent metrics
- Analyze department-wide data to identify opportunities for growth or process improvement and propose recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify opportunities to enhance our products
- Manage projects related to product development and process improvement
- Assist in development of materials for internal and external executive-level reporting
- Lead market intelligence analysis to compile key information on potential customers, competitors, and market factors
- Maintain strong understanding of key market trends across healthcare, senior living, and capital markets to identify and understand their impact on Curana Health and its customers
Background & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required
- 2 – 3 years of experience working in management consulting, investment banking, or a strategy role within a healthcare company
- Experience working in healthcare or related field required. Familiarity and experience with value-based care concepts and payment models (e.g., ACOs, Medicare Advantage) preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with ability to work independently and drive key deliverables forward
- Ability to dissect a problem, articulate a hypothesis with supporting data, and propose a recommendation
- Ability to communicate complex ideas or processes in a simple, easily digestible manner to a range of audiences
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills required, including high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. SQL or PowerBI experience a plus but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication with proven experience developing executive-facing presentations or other deliverables
- Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work collaboratively to solve complex problems
