SUMMARY
The Provider Compensation Analyst will work closely with all departments to gather, analyze, and report data related to provider compensation. They will assist in the calculation of productivity-based compensation and work closely with the payroll department to ensure that each medical professional is compensated according to their employment agreements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing database and tracking employment changes
- Researching, gathering, and analyzing data
- Preparing and providing data to payroll in accordance with state legislation
- Communicating effectively with other departments and employees regarding changes to compensation
- Responding to payroll inquiries to provide detailed explanations of compensation as needed
- Other tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in accounting, employee compensation management, and/or payroll preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively regarding a variety of sensitive and complex issues
- Excellent mathematical, critical thinking, and analytical skills required
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Demonstrated team player with a professional, positive attitude, and willingness to be flexible
