Summary

We are seeking a skilled consultant and project manager to organize travel & expense budgets, manage hundreds of state medical licenses and develop/track key performance indicators for a growing team of specialty doctors and nurse practitioners. This individual is responsible for all aspects of a project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. They must be disciplined and willing to work independently to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare consulting and can use data/analytics to drive success in high-priority projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create project plans, establish timelines, risk mitigation strategies and budgets for projects including but not limited to: Travel Team Budget, Multi-State Licensure Prioritization, Psychiatrist & Primary Care Collaboration Agreements, Development and Trending of KPIs.
  • Deploy national travel team and manage team’s budget including organizing travel and adhering to expense requirements.
  • Track and optimize the required state licenses and partner with the Curana Specialty Providers & Central Licensing Team to ensure new licenses are obtained on time and existing licenses are renewed.
  • Create and maintain prioritization system for new licenses for specialty providers.
  • Support the completion of state specific collaborative practice requirements with the Licensing & Credentialling Team. Partner with 3rd party vendors as needed for collaborative practice agreements.
  • Monitor all Collaborative Practice Agreements for the Curana Specialty Providers and ensure accurate stipends are paid to physicians quarterly.
  • Organize and track targeted patient outreach for Curana Specialty Providers with input from multiple DCOs.
  • Review existing dashboards and data sets and extract key data points for the management team using SQL.
  • Create KPIs for the specialty services providers and trend over time. Examples include: antipsychotic prescribing rates, productivity metrics for the travel team, return to acute care rates vs treat in place rates, percent of hospice LOS over six months.

Background & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
  • Ideal candidates will have work experience in a consulting firm and/or in a project management role, led their own workstreams on a project and coached junior staff
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing high priority projects, including budgets and executive report-outs
  • Requires skills in SQL and the development of slide presentations to present data
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Monday.com to track data, create presentations and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrated strong-communication skills.
  • Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and comfort dealing with ambiguity in a fast paced, high-growth environment.
