Curana Health is a provider of value-based primary care services for the senior living industry, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted & independent living communities, Memory Care units, and affordable senior housing sites. Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive our company's financial growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make informed financial decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the annual budgeting process and provide accurate forecasts. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the company's financial performance. Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Strategic Finance: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall operational goals and objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for informed decision-making.
  • Cash Management: Manage the company's cash flow, optimizing working capital and liquidity. Oversee cash forecasting and develop strategies to effectively manage cash resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and investors.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
  • Investment and Funding: Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations for capital allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to secure funding and manage relationships with financial partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in progressively responsible corporate finance roles or experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Corporate M&A. Preferably within Healthcare Services.
  • Experience in healthcare services / healthcare provider businesses is a plus
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems and SQL/PowerBI/Oracle a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
