Description

Curana Health is a provider of value-based primary care services for the senior living industry, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted & independent living communities, Memory Care units, and affordable senior housing sites. Our 1,000+ clinicians serve more than 1,500 senior living community partners across 33 states, and Curana participates in various innovative CMS programs (including owned-and-operated Accountable Care Organizations and Medicare Advantage plans). Key Responsibilities

  • Directly support the Executive Vice President, National Business Development, in obtaining new health plan partnerships with national SNF and senior living organizations
  • Develop clear targets for plan partnerships and coordinate with larger Business Development team to set regional goals and collaborate on regional and local lead follow up
  • Participate in contracting process with new partners
  • Participate and lead sales presentations and calls for national/large partnership presentations
  • Travel as needed to attend industry conferences and events to produce new leads or to follow up on in-progress sales conversations
  • Analyze industry data and develop reports to support business development outreach efforts
  • Provide project management for pre-implementation activities for national clients
  • Collaborate with implementation and account management teams to ensure a smooth hand-off from business development into ongoing operations
  • Contribute to overall company messaging and pitch development
  • Collaborate with marketing department for outreach campaigns
  • Prepare competitive market overviews to be used to refine pitch, client acquisition strategy, and company positioning
  • Support the EVP of National Business Development on other external and internal projects as needed including internal communications and education

Background & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage (preferably ISNP or DSNP), healthcare consulting, senior living or SNF consulting or management
  • Strategy or business development experience highly desired
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytic and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects across organizational units
  • Business development or marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of Medicare Advantage, value-based care
  • Experience working with senior living strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven experience delivering executive-facing presentations
  • Proficiency in business systems including Microsoft Office, customer relationship and project management
