Summary

As a Paralegal – Medical Group Operations, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring our medical group operates smoothly, compliantly, and effectively. You’ll work alongside talented attorneys and leaders across the company, helping to drive growth, navigate complex regulations, and support our mission to improve care delivery.

This is not just a support role—it’s a chance to lead initiatives, streamline processes, and contribute to the future of healthcare law.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with attorneys to support regulatory compliance, operations, contracting, and litigation.

  • Maintain and enhance contract templates to reflect new laws, regulations, and business needs.

  • Draft contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents that keep our operations moving forward.

  • Research and monitor emerging state and federal regulations, providing timely insights to leadership.

  • Support licensure and compliance efforts across our medical group operations.

  • Assist with litigation and risk management, playing a key role in protecting the organization.

  • Lead and implement initiatives to improve how the Legal Department delivers value to the business.

Qualifications

  • A keen eye for detail with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, organize effectively, and deliver results.

  • Strong skills in legal research tools (Westlaw expertise a big plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Confidence in assessing processes and recommending improvements.

  • A proactive mindset with problem-solving and independent decision-making abilities.

  • At least five years of paralegal experience in a corporate setting, preferably healthcare.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s in Paralegal Studies preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
