Summary

The Senior Team Lead, overseeing multiple clinic locations, is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality clinical support and operational excellence across all assigned sites. This role serves as the primary liaison between medical assistant teams, clinic managers, and clinical leadership, balancing direct supervision and staff development to optimize patient care and team performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Staff Management

  • Train clinic support staff
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage PTO requests
  • Provide ongoing supervision and support.
  • Foster a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and professional development.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation for engagement events in communities.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure smooth clinical operations by coordinating patient flow, appointment scheduling, and room utilization.
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Implement and enforce clinic policies and procedures to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Patient Experience

  • Monitor patient satisfaction survey distribution and monitoring scoring.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient care processes and minimize wait times.
  • Oversee the implementation of patient education initiatives and preventive care programs.
  • Ensure clinical support staff are integrated into our community's activities and promote patient engagement.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and other privacy laws governing patient information.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or management, preferably in a primary care setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing and coding processes and knowledge of insurance regulations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT applications.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing healthcare practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
