Summary
The Office Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the office environment. This position is responsible for handling a variety of administrative, organizational, and communication tasks to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Office Support: Perform a range of administrative and office coordination duties as assigned. Maintain a tidy, confidential, and safe work environment, including managing office supplies and equipment. Assist in organizing meetings and office events.
- Mailroom Operations: Oversee mailroom activities and ensure smooth mail delivery.
- Special Projects: Provide assistance on projects and tasks for various departments as needed.
- Communication Management: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external communications, managing phone calls, emails, faxes, and correspondence to ensure efficient information flow and maintain professional relationships.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and keep accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Capable of completing tasks, meetings, and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, and database management systems.
