Full-Time

At Curana Health, we're on a mission to radically improve the health, happiness, and dignity of older adults—and we're looking for passionate people to help us do it. As a national leader in value-based care, we offer senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities a wide range of solutions (including on-site primary care services, Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans) proven to enhance health outcomes, streamline operations, and create new financial opportunities.

Founded in 2021, we're one of the fastest-growing companies in senior care—now serving 200,000+ seniors in 1,500+ communities across 32 states. Our team includes more than 1,000 clinicians alongside care coordinators, analysts, operators, and professionals from all backgrounds, all working together to deliver high-quality, proactive solutions for senior living operators and those they care for. Our partner communities have seen unnecessary hospitalizations drop by more than 39% — proof that when you put great clinicians where seniors live, outcomes change. We're also thrilled to share that Curana Health has been named the 147th fastest-growing, privately owned company in the nation on Inc. magazine's prestigious Inc. 5000 list.

Summary

Our growth depends on our ability to bring exceptional Advanced Practice Providers to the communities that need them. We're looking for an APP Recruiter who is genuinely skilled at sourcing and finding clinical talent — someone who knows how to identify the right Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, build relationships with them over time, and guide them toward a mission that matters. This is relationship-driven, consultative recruiting, not high-pressure cold calling. Many of our most meaningful openings are in rural and underserved communities where the right person can make an outsized difference, so creativity and persistence matter — but so does the ability to build trust and represent Curana as an employer people want to join.

You'll join a People team that operates as a true people strategy partner to the business. We're not a transactional, req-processing shop. We sit at the table on workforce planning, market strategy, and how we scale clinical hiring thoughtfully as Curana grows. In this role, your market insight and pipeline intelligence directly shape how and where we expand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for APP roles (NPs, PAs) with a focus on rural and underserved markets
  • Proactively source and engage qualified candidates through Doximity, LinkedIn, professional associations, residency program networks, and other channels
  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of APP candidates through consistent, relationship-based outreach — including clinicians who aren't actively looking
  • Partner with hiring managers and clinical leaders to understand role requirements, community context, and candidate fit
  • Develop market-specific sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill geographies and share what you learn back with the broader People team
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess clinical competency, cultural alignment, and interest in senior and rural practice
  • Manage all candidate activity in iCIMS (ATS), maintaining accurate and timely documentation throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing channel effectiveness, and pipeline health
  • Represent Curana Health at virtual and in-person recruiting events, conferences, and residency program outreach
  • Contribute to workforce planning, employer branding, and market intelligence as a strategic partner to the business

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on APP, provider, or clinical recruiting
  • Demonstrated success filling roles in rural, frontier, or underserved geographic markets
  • Strong sourcing skills: you know how to find and engage the right clinical talent and build interest over time through authentic relationships
  • Experience sourcing through Indeed, SeekOut, Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume, multi-requisition workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; you build trust quickly and represent the organization well
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (experience with iCIMS a plus)
  • Self-directed and accountable in a remote work environment

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting for post-acute care, geriatrics, primary care, or senior living organizations
  • Knowledge of APP licensure, credentialing basics, or clinical scopes of practice
  • Track record building residency pipeline relationships or engaging new graduate APPs
  • Background using sourcing tools such as SeekOut or JuiceBox for clinical candidate identification
  • Experience in a fast-scaling organization and a partnership-minded, strategic approach to talent acquisition
