Job Description

Join our team as a Telesales Agent - Empower your career with Devoted Health!

A bit about this role:

The Telesales Agent plays a pivotal role in representing Devoted Health during initial interactions with prospective members. This position involves closing sales with Medicare beneficiaries over the phone or arranging face-to-face appointments with local agents. Additionally, the agent assesses healthcare needs, provides product information, and assists in selecting suitable plans. Following the peak selling season, the agent transitions to supporting the Member Service Guide team, focusing on member service, engagement and retention.

Our 6-week training program not only prepares you for your role, but it will set you up to achieve goals set during AEP season. Come prepared to immerse yourself in all things Devoted and learn what a leading player in the industry is doing for our members!

Position Location:

  • Our office is located in Pembroke Pines, FL - preferred residence in and around Southeast Florida

  • Training: Hybrid training model, with a hybrid schedule available post-training success.

  • License: No license required to start!

Work Schedule:

  • Training hours of operation: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST

  • A schedule will be provided to you at point of hire including evenings, weekend work & holidays

Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Engage & Educate: Support inbound and outbound call campaigns, educating both prospective and current members about Devoted products, answering questions, and assisting with the completion of enrollment applications in compliance with Medicare requirements.

  • Assist & Evaluate: Aid current members in evaluating their coverage, identifying gaps, and making appropriate plan changes when necessary, all while meeting and exceeding sales quotas and consistently achieving quality and productivity goals.

  • Build Relationships: Establish rapport by actively listening, showing empathy, and offering solutions that lead to conversions. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our members.

  • Support & Service: After the peak season, assist current members in reviewing and improving their coverage, ensuring they have the best plan for their needs. Work closely with the Member Service Guide team to support member engagement and retention during the off-season.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or relevant recent experience (new grads welcome!).

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as business needs require.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, active listening, and building relationships.

  • Adaptability: Be open to feedback and quickly implement improvements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate multiple systems at once.

  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.

Desired Skills:

  • Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Salary Range: $22-$23 / hour + commission

Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
