With over 30 locations throughout the U.S. and treatment options available virtually, ERC Pathlight meets patients where they’re at to offer innovative, compassionate, and comprehensive treatment for eating disorders, as well as mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.

We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we’re looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you’ll be doing:

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Director of Nutrition oversees all aspects of the nutritional program for Eating Recovery Centers within a defined geographic area and/or level of care. The Nutrition Director supervises a team of Nutrition Managers and/or Registered Dietitians and contributes to the overall achievement of objectives for ERC as defined by executive and senior leadership teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Guides, trains and assists with all phases of nutrition care, including nutrition assessment, care planning, and monitoring. Ensures accurate clinical documentation in patient charts by staff. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and accreditation.

  • In partnership with the Regional Director of Nutrition develops, reviews, updates and makes recommendations for policies and procedures, nutrition curriculum and educational materials for the Nutrition Department.

  • Oversees and implements all aspects of the nutritional program for Eating Recovery Center including direct management of teams of professionals ranging from Nutrition Managers to Dietitians. Effectiveness may be measured by ability to achieve team results by managing through direct reports

  • Staffs the nutrition function under general oversight of Executive Director

  • Manages relationship and budgetary responsibility for contracted food service vendor.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including frequent evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field from an accredited college or university required.

  • Must have a current, active, and unrestricted national certification as registered dietician license

  • Certified Eating Disorder Specialist preferred

  • Knowledge of eating disorder treatment guidelines and interventions for all age groups.

  • Ability to lead management teams with different areas of focus

  • Skilled at leadership level influence and business presentations.

    Years of experience
    Required:

  • 4 years of nutrition management without Eating Disorder experience OR

  • 2 years of nutrition management experience with Eating Disorder experience

    Preferred:

  • 7 years of nutrition management without Eating Disorder experience OR

  • 5 years of nutrition management experience with Eating Disorder experience

The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $84,500 - $102,500
