Position Available: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Location: Pathlight Center, San Antonio, Texas
Setting: Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

About Us: ERC Pathlight is a leading mental health care system dedicated to treating eating disorders, as well as primary mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. Our multi-disciplinary treatment programs focus on collaborating closely with patients and their families to illuminate the path forward and establish a foundation for lasting mental wellness.

Responsibilities: As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at ERC Pathlight, you will be a key member of our clinical team, providing care for individuals with mood, anxiety, and trauma issues. You will work collaboratively within an integrated care team, ensuring top-tier care for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Full-time schedule: 1.0 FTE, onsite Monday-Friday.
  • Treating individuals aged 8-18 years.
  • Conducting a minimum of 2 patient contacts with documentation per week.
  • Managing an average caseload of 18 patients per week.
  • Focusing on superior patient care with a strong therapeutic approach, including individual and family therapy.
  • Working with a full-support staff, including Licensed Therapists, Case Managers, Clinical Managers, Administrative Support, and Staff Nurses.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Completion of a psychiatric residency and Child and Adolescent fellowship OR Adolescent Medicine Fellowship from an accredited residency program.
  • Board eligibility in the appropriate specialty (board certified preferred).

Benefits Package:

  • Salary Range: $262,000-$289,000 (depending on years of experience).
