What you’ll be doing:
This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and underpinning Microsoft Windows systems. You will administer our Microsoft 365 environment including Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Compliance. Additionally, you will provide key administration of functional applications such as multifunction print/scan/fax environment and support the operational environment of key on-premises applications such as Microsoft Dynamics. The role demonstrates knowledge in infrastructure systems (both on-premises and cloud-based), operational support, and supporting Eating Recovery Center/Pathlight data centers, corporate offices, remote workers, and nationwide patient treatment locations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Systems Administration: Work tightly with the Systems Engineers to maintain the organization's identity management (Entra) infrastructure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Compliance, Teams, OneDrive, and other related applications. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the Microsoft 365 environment. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Functional Systems Administration: Administer our Canon Uniflow and Printerlogic Follow Me printer environment, Dynamics/ReQlogic GL and AP management, our Pharmacy applications, and other key functional applications.
- License Management: Work with VP of IT Infrastructure & Operations and the Senior Systems Engineer to provide automated adherence of role-based access to all licenses, ensuring license allocation and cost are optimized across the enterprise.
- Teammate Support, Documentation, and Training: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of 365 applications. Conduct user training sessions to educate employees on system features and best practices. Develop and maintain user documentation, including system manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuous Improvement and Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teammates and other departments to plan and implement new Microsoft 365 features and services. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for data security and privacy.
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator or similar role with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and applications.
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Office 365 administration.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud computing concepts.
- Windows Server 2016/2022 Operating Systems (OS) all related OS services like DHCP/IIS/etc. Application installation and support on these OS’s.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert are a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, including working occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation starting range for the Systems Administrator - Microsoft role is $85,000 to $100,000. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
