Who We Are
Evergreen Nephrology partners with nephrologists across the country to provide individuals living with kidney disease a value-based, person-centered, holistic, and comprehensive approach to kidney care. We are committed to improving their quality of life.
Our collaboration with nephrologists focuses on serving the needs of patients across the full care spectrum. We do this by tailoring care for each patient based on their unique needs, ranging from delivery of care and education to coordinating transportation to dialysis and other social determinants of health that can delay patient care and treatment.
Your Role
You will report to the President or designee and will serve as the driver of marketing operations across the organization. This role will be the point of contact and hold marketing and brand vendors accountable to meet the needs of the business. The ability to quickly understand value-based care, stakeholder relationships and the importance of effective patient engagement will be key to serving in this role effectively. Internal functional areas you will work with routinely include field operations, central operations, strategic operations, clinical innovation, legal and advocacy, growth, and physician partners. Externally, you will be the interface with organizations like branding website design agencies and mail house and supply vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and/or facilitate on marketing strategies to drive key business priorities, such as
- Patient engagement – including journey mapping, effective initial outreaches, visit completion, and ongoing care management
- Physician partner engagement – including materials to support patient encounters, co-branding, website support, etc.
- Growth in patients served through payor and physician partners – including pitch materials, conference participation, and patient-facing collateral to explain the program
- Talent brand – including value proposition messaging, campaigns, and culture development
- Develop and maintain assets critical to advancing our business priorities, such as central marketing hub for Evergreen teams, patient-facing collateral, websites, etc
- Manage relationships with Evergreen functional leaders and maintain high levels of service on inbound requests
- Proactively maintain connection to leaders to anticipate business priorities and communicate marketing’s priority list
- Scope inbound requests and close out in a timely manner
- Help define Evergreen’s overarching brand strategy
- Articulate, socialize, and build buy-in for Evergreen’s distinct positioning
- Codify that positioning in messaging across our key stakeholders
- Update brand assets where appropriate
- Conduct periodic brand audits across the organization to ensure consistency
- Manage external vendor and contractor relationships to support in getting the work done
- Ensure we have the right resources in place and hold them accountable to high levels of performance
How You Qualify

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field like art and design, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, English, etc.
- 10 years of experience in healthcare marketing roles with increasing levels of responsibility and clear track record of effectiveness and ability to work independently
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare services, at a payor, provider, or both
- Experience in value-based care and/or startup environment preferred
- Highly adaptable – equally adept at creative ideation and elegant organization, high-level strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves execution
- Strong people skills – teamwork, communication, and account management in particular
- Effectiveness in ambiguity – accepting of the dynamic startup environment, while also bringing greater order and clarity wherever you show up

Pay range for this role is $170,000 to $180,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, and other role-specific criteria.
