Your Role

As the SVP, Clinical Operations, you will be accountable for developing and oversight of clinical operations in support of value base care (VBC) performance execution to improve patient outcomes. This position requires close collaboration with teams across the organization, create space for innovation, ensure end to end implications of operations and impacts to staff, providers and patients. Develop execution of clinical and population health initiatives to drive outcomes and consider ROI modeling.

Primary Functions

  • Develop and oversee clinical and population health strategy that drives an improvement in health outcomes, reduces unnecessary utilization, in close collaboration and partnership with the CMO, COO and President
  • Strategic plan development to optimize and balance centralize and field execution
  • Provide leadership, oversight and management of team and individual team members on team/organizational performance initiatives. Coach and mentor team members on analytic, strategic and operations management for assigned tasks, technical issues and deliverables
  • Oversee clinical operations strategy and execution component of new service line development and implementation in close collaboration with SVP of Business Operations and other key departments across the organization
  • Oversee and manage the Patient Engagement teams that focus on transition of care, overall chronic care management, post-acute care management, and CKD navigation
  • Oversee and manage the Central IDT team and patient contact center
  • Oversee NCQA accreditation process, and ensure accreditation is maintained, in close collaboration and partnership with leaders across the organization
  • Support the clinical evaluation, requirements definition, and implementation of clinical IT systems and technology-enabled patient services, in close collaboration with the technology leadership team

  • You have 12+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A current RN or higher clinical license strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of clinical practice operations and areas to create efficiencies
  • Proven experience driving clinical outcomes and quality improvement for chronically ill patient populations
  • You are a proven leader with a high level of EQs skills; you effectively listen, engage and support team members
  • You have excellent relationship, communication, change management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and respect quickly, both internally and externally
  • You have a strong executive presence that inspires others and instills confidence in peers, external partners, board members, and team members
  • You are execution-focused and hands-on; you can effectively toggles strategic and “in the weeds” activities
  • You are able to motivate staff; influence people and outcomes, you promote team building
  • You have the demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, in collaborative settings
  • You understand and are committed to maintaining highest level of confidentiality
  • You have demonstrated strong business acumen of valued based healthcare operations in disease management and population health programs
  • You are demonstrate organizational skills, operational rigor, resilience and commitment to the business
  • You have current, relevant, and substantial knowledge of areas related to health center licensing and operations, e.g., legal/regulatory, administrative, policy, protocols, and other clinical issues, especially within a managed care environment
  • You have knowledge and understanding of mid-level supervision agreements and regulations
  • We also strongly prefer
    • You have previous experience working within a managed care environment especially with experience in administrative/management capacity
    • You have experience in leading the clinical function of a Value Based Care organization

Pay range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, and other role-specific criteria.
