Your Role

The General Manager (GM) will own and manage state and partner-level P&L for up to three states through coaching and developing a team of Clinical Operations Managers to ensure effective and efficient work of Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT) to achieve improved outcomes with lower cost of care for assigned patient panels. The GM will be the principle trusted partner for the JV practices, working to re-orient to Evergreen’s vision daily through attendance at partner, practice-level meetings, as well as engagement with front line staff.

  • Utilizing their knowledge of Value Based Care (VBC), the GM will be able to translate our operational and clinical model in a way that engages and drives internal and external stakeholders in strategic execution and partnership.
  • The GM will leverage trust and influence to drive continuous practice transformation through strategic co-creation with partners, IDT optimization, effective communication, and management of P&L.
  • Responsible for talent attraction, management, and retention for the states under management.
  • Will be a culture champion – cultivating a culture of high performance, transparency, trust, and collaboration.
  • Accountable to develop, set agendas, and own preparation of concise and effective presentation materials and resources required to support and lead board meetings, partner JOCs, and KCE Governing Body Meetings.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business or have the equivalent relevant experience.
  • You have eight (8) years’ experience in multi-site healthcare services/direct patient-care businesses, with at least five (5) years in leadership and management positions.
  • You have an understanding of and experience in Value Based Care.
  • You understand Business Continuity and how to build resiliency into business processes / systems.
  • You develop talent, know when to delegate, innovate and iterate with your team, leveraging their strengths.
  • You have excellent relationship, communication, change management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and respect quickly, both internally and externally.
  • You have a strong leadership presence which inspires others and instills confidence in peers, external partners, board members, and team members.
  • You are execution-focused and hands-on; you can effectively toggle between strategic and “in the weeds” activities.
  • You have the demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative leadership team .
  • You understand and are committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
  • You have demonstrated a strong business acumen of valued based healthcare operations in disease management and population health programs.
  • You demonstrate organizational skills, operational rigor, resilience, and commitment to the business.
  • We also strongly prefer:
    • You have previous experience working within a managed care environment especially with experience in administrative/management capacity.
    • You have experience in leading the clinical function of a Value Based Care organization.

Pay range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000, with exact pay determined based on experience, education, demand for role, and other role-specific criteria.
