We are intensely focused on optimizing the physical + mental + financial wellbeing of those who want (and deserve) something better than the status quo. If you are ready to roll up your sleeves and take on our audacious mission, we would love to hear from you.

Your Role

As a Senior Product Manager, Health Plan at Firefly, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our health plan products and services. You will work cross-functionally with Health Plan Ops, engineering, UX design, analytics, sales & marketing teams to develop and enhance solutions that enhance our value propositions, streamline health plan operations, improve provider and member engagement, and drive business growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic startup environment.

You will:

  • Contribute to defining the product strategy and lead the execution on the roadmap for Firefly’s health plan solutions, aligning with the company’s vision and business objectives to integrate care + coverage for cost-effective, high-quality healthcare.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key value propositions and differentiators for the Firefly Health Plan product and prioritize development effort around these key differentiators, ensuring cross functional alignment.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to prioritize, launch and iteration.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations and design teams to develop intuitive, scalable, and high-performance health plan products.
  • Partner with data science and actuarial teams to analyze utilization trends, cost drivers, and population health insights, translating findings into product enhancements that drive value for members and employers.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, regulatory requirements, market trends, and data insights to drive product decisions.
  • Define clear success metrics and track product performance to continuously optimize and improve.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, sales, marketing, operations, and customer success to design and deliver innovative plan benefits, network strategies, and member experience that improve outcomes while reducing total cost of care.
  • Champion a member-first approach, leveraging user research, feedback loops, and engagement metrics to optimize plan offerings and service delivery.
  • Drive operational efficiency by partnering with Operations to identify, scope, and prioritize tech-forward opportunities to streamline processes between care delivery, claims processing, eligibility management, and member support.
  • Work with Marketing to develop a standard Product presentation for external use & internal training.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and healthcare regulations to drive innovation, while maintaining compliance and regulatory alignment. Develop and maintain a detailed competitive analysis for Firefly offering vs. competitors.

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in health plans, healthcare technology, or tech-enabled services.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Proven track record of launching and managing successful healthcare-related products in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage company.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), data analytics tools, A/B testing, and user research methodologies.
  • Experience in health plan administration, provider network management, or member engagement solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JIRA preferred.
