Your Role

As Director, Stars and Quality Programs, you will drive success by supporting the high-quality care of patients in Honest’s partner organizations, and act as a subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage, ACO REACH, and other Medicare value-based care program quality metrics and performance strategies. The Director, Stars and Quality Programs is responsible for developing the strategies for Star ratings and other quality programs as well as implementing them across field teams and practice partners to meet quality goals. The Director, Stars and Quality Programs will also oversee day to day performance and operations of the Quality team and provide quality training as needed to field teams and practice partners.

Primary Functions Include:

  • Lead the Quality Team to ensure a high level of engagement, execution, and performance results.
  • Design, develop and implement quality work plans to ensure optimal performance across all provider partners.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and champion quality programs and culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop educational materials for internal and external stakeholders. Partner with Honest Medical Group’s Clinical Learning Team to incorporate quality training into onboarding for all new hires.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and interpret applicable CMS, NCQA, etc. guidelines and requirements to support program enhancements, product development, and work plans.
  • Collaborate with internal Risk Adjustment/CDI teams to ensure organizational alignment with vendors, chart review, etc.

How You Qualify

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or similar field required
  • 7+ years of experience working in health care quality
  • 3+ years of experience with Star Ratings, HEDIS, and ACO REACH quality
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams and developing talent
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
  • Experience with risk adjustment preferred
  • Some travel required, up to 25%
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDFs,
  • Data analytics experience preferred
