Your Role

As Vice President, Analytics at Honest Health you will develop and execute our organizational analytics strategy for a centralized team of skilled analytics professionals who are responsible for providing high-quality enterprise analytics across all major business functions in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure the enhancement and optimization of data insights to inform the company’s strategic, operational, and clinical programs and direction, helping us scale and elevate our solutions. As Vice President, Analytics, you will work cross-functionally with Technology, Finance, Clinical, and Operations leaders to tackle challenges and overcome complex obstacles to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights that support Honest’s partner providers and improve patient outcomes.

In this role, the Vice President, Analytics will be able to make a significant impact on the value Honest delivers to our partners and providers.

Primary Functions of the VP, Analytics Include:

  • Provide direct support for performance management to enable standard and consistent data architecture and dashboards to accurately track KPIs across markets, partners, payers and products.
  • Develop new and refine existing analytics strategies and service offerings for internal and external audiences integrating multiple data sources including payer, partner (EMR), ADT, clinical and operational data to drive a single source of truth and consistent KPI definitions across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize business opportunities while ensuring decisions are data-driven and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop the analytics roadmap, tactical execution plan and project timeline for integrated analytics and informatics.
  • Organize, structure and lead a high-performing analytics team to meet the needs of numerous business leaders and stakeholders including Senior and Market Leadership, Clinical Teams, Finance and Actuary, Operations and Business Development.
  • Work in partnership with IT and other departments to define, acquire and optimize data collection and tools and for the development of analytics and reporting/dashboarding to build a best-in-class analytics function and drive business performance.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including cross-functional partners and executive leadership.
  • Drive the development of new and innovative predictive and prospective models and advanced analytical solutions to support timely and actionable clinical and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain various patient risk stratification models and lead the components of cost of care models.
  • Lead efforts to bridge the knowledge gap between data analytics and operators through clear and concise reporting and dashboards.
  • Design and implement standardized analytic definitions and practices to drive alignment and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Monitor the evolving healthcare landscape and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and business impact.
  • Establish and enforce data and analytics governance standards.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

How You Qualify

  • ​​Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Significant experience performing analysis on large healthcare administrative claims data, EHR/EMR data, or complex relational healthcare databases analyzing medical, pharmacy and utilization data
  • Familiar with value-based care, payer, risk adjustment, quality, and healthcare compliance
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with analytic and reporting tools in a big data environment
  • Experience driving and achieving operational excellence, delivering results and measuring efforts against goals
  • Experience leading, managing and executing analytics reporting tools and accessible solutions to meet business leader needs in support of data driving decision making
  • Excellent leadership skills, mentoring and written and verbal skills, including presentation of data, analysis and recommendations in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • 10% travel required

The base pay range for this role is $206,400.00 - $252,800.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
