Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. We do not replace existing care teams; we enhance them, providing an extra layer of support with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to children with medical complexity.

The primary location for this role is in Houston, Texas, travel is estimated to be up to 25% - 35%, and expected schedule requirements are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm local time.

What You’ll Do

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the daily operations and strategic execution of Imagine Pediatrics clinical model; you will work with the SVP, Regional General Manager and Regional Medical Director on driving operational efficiencies through data analytics and KPI monitoring.

This role blends data-driven insights with leadership, and clinical expertise to ensure our care model consistently delivers measurable improvements in patient outcomes, operational excellence, and patient satisfaction. The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving accountability and execution through analytics and fostering a culture of collaboration.

In this role you will:

  • Use clinical and operational data to monitor individual and team performance against defined KPIs.
  • Monitor and optimize patient scheduling, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
  • Oversee the management of patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical data.
  • Translate insights from data into actionable strategies that improve patient outcomes and team productivity.
  • Support development and reporting of performance dashboards, ensuring visibility of metrics at both team and leadership levels.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance engagement, retention, and patient satisfaction throughout their care journey.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations leadership to align team goals with organizational strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Track, and report on market-level KPIs and ensure data-driven decision-making
  • Drive patient access, scheduling optimization, and care team efficiency in collaboration with clinical leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational workflows
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to clinical operations
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.

What You Bring & How You Qualify

First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in a managed care/value-based care setting, consulting, strategy or operations analyst.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including leadership and technical partners.
  • Familiarity with valued-based arrangements, including shared savings and risk
  • Experience managing a team and driving collaboration across teams
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and analytic skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Exceptional critical thinker and problem solver
  • Can take on time-sensitive tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Displays intuitive business acumen

What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)

The role offers a base salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
