Infusion for Health is a referral-based infusion center that services all providers in multiple locations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, and Missouri. Our center is unique and offers individual comfortable private rooms for our patients. Our mission is to provide exceptional service in the administration of infusion therapy in a comfortable, patient-focused environment by providing exemplary professional clinical care.

Our company is continuing to grow and we're looking to add an Accounting Manager to support our accounting department.

This is a full-time, remote position. Candidate can be based anywhere but is expected to work PST hours.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will supervise the day-to-day operations of Accounting (Month-End Close, Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll). This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong financial internal controls and driving decisions that impact the Finance & Accounting organization. This role will work directly with operational managers and other teams within Finance. Responsibilities will also include the implementation and development of various business systems such as the general ledger and other automation tools. The Accounting Manager must be self-sufficient and confident in their ability to steer the company in delivering on its long-term business model.

Job Duties

  • Direct the management of the monthly closing of the financial systems, ensuring that all activities are executed in an accurate, timely manner and in accordance with accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review monthly balance sheets, journal entries, and financial statements for completeness and accuracy, including consolidation, intercompany accounting, and corporate debt and equity.
  • Research and resolve open items from reviewing financial statements.
  • Experience with designing and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Experience with system implementations preferred (General Ledger/AP Automation/Credit Cards/Expense Management/Travel).
  • Technical accounting experience, specifically working with the revenue cycle team inside a healthcare provider organization and accounting for revenue and AR.
  • Continual monitoring and assessment of the analytical tools and reports utilized with a focus on systems and process enhancements supporting financial management of the company.
  • Maintain and/or develop internal accounting controls. Organize and communicate accounting policies and procedures as needed. Ensure that accounting processes and operational functions are designed effectively to meet standard internal and GAAP controls and are implemented and consistently performed for all related activities.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team including Accountants, AP and AR, Project Accounting, and Payroll operations.
  • Coordinate and manage the external audit and annual tax filings with outside firm.
  • Coordinate AP and AR automation and development of other workflow tools that are align with Company strategic goals.
  • Direct and manage departmental staff through goal setting, guidance and coaching. Prioritize and assign departmental goals and projects; and provide developmental opportunities.
  • Evaluate, design and develop staff skill sets as required in current and future technology.
  • Sets strategic direction related to areas of responsibility.
  • Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or relevant field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred
  • 10+ years minimum relevant work experience
  • 5+ years experience in management role
  • Preference for remote work
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to escalate risks and issues as necessary to leadership to maintain efficient and timely process execution.
  • Experience with GL implementation preferred (Intacct, NetSuite, Blackline, etc.)
  • Experience with other implementations preferred (AP Automation/Credit Cards/Expense Management/Travel)
  • Familiarity with Federal Government Regulations preferred
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies, re-engineer processes, prepare an action plan, and execute
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for digging into processes to better understand them and communicate the big picture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions

The annual pay range for this role is expected to be between $120,000 - $135,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
