Ease of doing business, workflow neutral solutions, clinical autonomy, and aligned incentives are some of the most common topics when presenting Interwell’s solution. You will serve as the spokesperson for the physician community, and you are entrusted with managing multiple relationships and market strategies.

The work you will do:

  • Identify and follow up leads for potential physician partnerships and development of new business opportunities
  • Secure contracts and align local nephrology practices by demonstrating clear knowledge and comprehension of our value proposition and enrollment process
  • Build market-specific network development strategies based on local market intelligence, network data and organizational objectives
  • Foster strategic provider partnerships and functional working relationships with Nephrologists, Access Surgeons, alternative Specialists, hospital systems, providers, and payers to:
  • Implement value-based compensation models with Physicians and Payers
  • Educate and partner with physician and payer community to assist in Interwell Health’s rollout and on-going operations
  • Ensure mitigation of payer abrasion and market disruption
  • Partner closely with payer partners to oversee provider engagement through community events, such as educational sessions, networking events and strategic roundtable discussions
  • Fortify relationship with payer’s clinical leadership to expedite introductions and meetings with identified provider partners
  • Develop close working relationships and communications with Clinical, Account Management and Payor Sales teams to implement growth strategies
  • Participate in local and national renal meetings as appropriate to drive new partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with our data and reporting team to house master data sets by region/state to ensure centralized repository accuracy
  • Connect with Marketing and Product teams to develop provider and patient-facing materials for education and recruitment

The skills and qualifications you need:

  • College Degree, Master’s Degree, preferred
  • 7+ years of provider-facing relationship building experience, a must have
  • Understanding of financial drivers/incentives for Physician Practices, Payer partners and other healthcare stakeholders
  • Ability to understand current chronic kidney disease and End Stage Renal disease landscape relating to legislation and market forces
  • Experience working alongside and negotiating with healthcare providers in the following roles: corporate strategy, payer contracting, payer provider relations, business development, practice (ACO, MSO, IPA, or other) management, or physician leadership, hospital systems, national accounts
  • 50 percent travel anticipated
Our mission is to reinvent healthcare to help patients live their best lives, and we proudly live our mission-driven values:
- We care deeply about the people we serve.
- We are better when we work together.
- Humility is a source of our strength.
- We bring joy to our work.
We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our recruiting practices. Everyone is welcome and included. We value our differences and learn from each other. Our team members come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. No matter how you identify your lifestyle, creed, or fandom, we value everyone's unique journey.
Oh, and one more thing … a recent study shows that men apply for a job or promotion when they meet only 60% of the qualifications, but women and other marginalized groups apply only if they meet 100% of them. So, if you think you’d be a great fit, but don’t necessarily meet every single requirement on one of our job openings, please still apply. We’d love to consider your application!
Come join us and help our patients live their best lives. Learn more at www.interwellhealth.com.
