Field Marketing Specialist

The Field Marketing Specialist will join Marathon Health’s field marketing team to develop and coordinate Marathon Health’s on-the-ground marketing and engagement strategy in the western region of the U.S.

• Lead the strategic marketing efforts to drive engagement for designated book of business
• Champion on-the-ground activities to support health center launch and ongoing engagement efforts in the West region to members and their covered family members
• Create and attend ongoing series of events in key local markets to engage members – including in-person, virtual and grassroots events
• Foster relationships with key strategic partners to promote Marathon Health services and drive engagement
• Generate creative opportunities for Marathon Health awareness and visibility in key local markets
• Create content for marketing materials
• Analyze data and prepare monthly reports on client engagement
• Collaborate with internal teams to reach engagement goals
• Lead local grassroots social media efforts to position local health centers, practice staff, events and special promotions

• 2-3 years of experience in marketing
• Local market expertise of West region
• Healthcare marketing experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication or related field
• Ability to articulate and present plans with confidence to senior level clients and comfortable interacting with members/patients
• Strong execution capability with a focus on driving results
• Highly analytical and strategic consultative teammate who can plan and execute
• Ability to think outside the box and innovate with creative marketing strategies
• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities with cross-functional teams
• Collaborative team player who can build relationships and work productively with cross-functional teammates
• Labor union knowledge a plus
• Must live in Northern California
• Up to 50% travel throughout West region
