ABOUT THE JOB

This role is responsible for building new vendor relationships and managing existing relationships with vendors that provide client and care team related products and services to the organization This role is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing central support services by leading team efforts to increase efficiencies and automate workflows in alignment with business initiatives. As the leader of the Central Support team, the Manager of Central Support Services will work with internal Marathon teammates, and other identified partners to ensure all activities and deliverables are completed to support our client and care team needs. The Central Support Manager plays a critical role in driving efforts to rapidly scale Marathon Health’s mission to transform primary care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and promote Central Support team standards and best practices to provide optimal company-wide vendor management support..
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve the Central Support process and/or outcomes.
  • Seek opportunities to automate workflows and standardize processes for long-term success and continuity.
  • Routinely engage in practices to identify new cost saving opportunities at both the health center and organizational level.
  • Support new and existing client implementations to ensure all central support responsibilities and processes align with client service offerings and requirements.
  • Oversee health center facility licensing, supply and equipment logistics, scrub ordering, vendor billing discrepancies, and day to day support.
  • Partner with the Director of Central Support and National Director of Pharmacy Services to support Pharmacy vendor management for all health centers.
  • Develop and maintain a medication and vaccine inventory and waste management system for all health centers.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking system for equipment assets, ownership, preventative maintenance schedules, and end of life cycles.
  • Create and develop engaging opportunities to communicate changes to new or existing policies and processes leveraging creative feedback tools.
  • Evaluate opportunities to secure new vendors and negotiate contract terms in alignment with business initiatives.
  • Use metrics and analysis to track existing vendor portfolio and ensure contract obligations are being met while also identifying new opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior hospital/health care operations or vendor management experience preferred.

Pay Range: $105,000 - $130,000

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
