ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Reporting Data Analyst is responsible for the development of SQL and Tableau reports including design, coding, testing, documentation, training and rollout. The Senior Reporting Data Analyst is responsible for supporting various areas of the organization by providing internal/external reports, ad-hoc data queries and proactive analysis. This will include, but is not limited to, providing analysis for assisting sales team, client engagement, clinic operations, etc. This role works highly in collaboration with business intelligence to deliver on Marathon Health's need for clinical and operational insights across the organization at all levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for internal reporting as well as ad-hoc data queries and proactive analysis to help leadership team improve decision-making.
  • Gather, manage, and synthesize large amounts of information effectively and creatively.
  • Analyze external/internal clinical data and provide recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with the BI, DAT, and DI teams to pull together most recent data from the data warehouse.
  • Creates SQL scripts, Tableau and Excel-based reports to support the enterprise.
  • Ensures reports and presentations are visually appealing and follow our current standards.
  • Document process flows and create standard operation procedures for reporting.
  • Provide data and thorough project recommendations to drive client satisfaction.
  • Ability to train incoming ERT and BI members on our ecosystem and standard practices.
  • Ability to train incoming new members on existing Portal, Incentives, and Reporting functionality used by the team.
  • Ability to take requirements and run with a project including coding, testing, and delivery to the customer.
  • Ability to research unknown reports/tables and present findings and recommendations to the team.
  • A SrRDA should understand the intricacies of the MH EDW, as well as the SQL and/or Tableau required to work on those products.
  • The SrRDA should be able to take requirements, whether written or verbal, and lead a small group to a final solution.
  • The SrRDA reports to the Director/Manager of Enterprise Reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in Healthcare Analytics (or related), required.

  • Ability to thoroughly Test one’s own work and the work of others on the team.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
