ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Provider to serve as both a clinician and Health Center Director in our advanced primary care practice. This dual-role position combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, guiding mental health services and clinical operations to provide integrated, high-quality care within a primary care setting. The Mental Health Provider is responsible for treatment planning, assessments, appropriate documentation of clinical progress, and the delivery of evidence-based therapy modalities and interventions to meet the needs of individuals, couples, and families. The Health Center Director provides clinical direction to health center clinical staff ensuring a highly functioning team focused on quality of care and exceptional service to our patients. The Health Center Director will set the cultural tone, establishing a highly professional, dedicated team of clinicians.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Health Center Director Duties (may include but not limited to):
- Lead daily operations of the health center, ensuring smooth workflow, patient satisfaction, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and monitor quality improvement metrics, ensuring care standards align with best practices and organizational goal
- Assist with provider recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Works with ROM to review clinical performance standards and provides specific guidance and feedback to them relating to staff clinical performance
- Observes and provides feedback to ROM on performance and practices for all health center providers and staff
- Reviews patient workflows and works with Regional Clinical Director/Market Clinical
- Escalate patient complaints and provide feedback to the appropriate resources (i.e., Regional Operations Manager, Client Success Manager, Regional Clinical Director/Market Clinical Director, People Experience)
- Supports systems in place for monitoring the performance of practitioners and staff (i.e., clinical competencies, mandatory trainings/tests, ongoing clinical training, etc.)
- Reinforces and educates all staff on the MH Policies and Procedures related to Scope of Services and clinical workflows
Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):
- Patient centered, outcomes based, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families ages 12 years and older
- Lead support groups and/or psychoeducation groups as appropriate
- Create and deliver psychoeducational webinars and workshops related to mental health topics
- Collaboration with other behavioral health and medical clinicians for integrated continuity of care for patients
Administrative Duties (may include, but not limited to):
- Using computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office suite
- Timely completion of documentation within EMR
- Work to address other social needs of patients and utilize appropriate external and/or internal referral sources for specialty care, hospitalization, or advanced psychiatric assessments and treatments
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Master’s level, licensed mental health clinician that includes but not limited to psychologists, licensed counselors, licensed social workers, and licensed marriage & family therapists among other specialties (LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, and/or PhD)
- At least 5 years of clinical mental health experience; prior leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification or become certified upon hire
- Required experience in providing counseling and mental health services, which may include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment of mental illness, and other psychological issues

Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000/yr
The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
