Job Title: Senior Reporting Data Analyst
Employer: Marathon Health, LLC
Work Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. (may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.)
Job Duties: Develop SQL scripts, procedures, tables, and ETL (extract, transform, load) architecture to support the enterprise [30%]. Train incoming ERT and BI members on our ecosystem and standard practices [5%]. Train new members on existing portal, incentives, and reporting functionality [5%]. Gather, manage, and synthesize large amounts of information effectively and creatively [15%]. Research unknown reports/tables and present findings and recommendations to the team [15%]. Independently assess requirements and lead projects including coding, testing, and delivery to the customer [10%]. Be responsible for internal/external reports, ad-hoc data queries, and proactive analysis [10%]. Lead small groups to a final solution [5%]. Analyze medical claims data and external/internal clinical data, providing recommendations to drive improvements [4%]. Document process flows and create standard operation procedures for reporting [1%].
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Primary Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in Public Health, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, or related field; and 24 months (2 years) experience in healthcare analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
Alternate Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Computer Science, Health Information Technology, or related field; and 48 months (4 years) experience in healthcare analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, or related field. (in lieu of MS + 2 years).
Other Special Skills or Requirements: Position also requires 24 months (2 years) of experience in:
· SQL (MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL)
· Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau and PowerBI
· Articulating and implementing data warehouse concepts and models
· Advanced healthcare data concepts
· Interacting with and presenting healthcare data to stakeholders
