ABOUT THE JOB
The Growth Enablement Director is responsible for building and optimizing the infrastructure that empowers our sales organization to deliver exceptional results. This leader equips growth teams with the tools, training, processes, and commercialization of our current clients to improve productivity, shorten sales cycles, and accelerate revenue growth. Acting as the strategic bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Client Success. The Growth Enablement Director owns the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our enablement programs to ensure sellers are prepared to deliver value to prospects and clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute a comprehensive growth enablement strategy aligned with Marathon Health’s business objectives.
Partner with growth leadership to identify performance gaps and implement targeted solutions.
Serve as a thought leader for sales enablement best practices and innovation.
Training & Development
Design and manage the Sales Training Enterprise, including onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing development for tenured sellers.
Develop curriculum covering products, sales methodologies, competitive positioning, and client engagement strategies.
Measure training effectiveness through adoption metrics, ramp time, and performance outcomes.
Content & Tools
Oversee creation and maintenance of sales playbooks, pitch decks, case studies, and objection-handling guides.
Ensure sales teams have access to and proficiency with essential tools (CRM, analytics, automation platforms).
Create strategies for ideal client profiles, target markets, and objection handling.
Process Optimization
Standardize sales processes across regions and teams to ensure consistency and scalability.
Implement KPIs and dashboards to track enablement impact (e.g., win rates, quota attainment, cycle time).
Collaboration & Change Management
Partner with Marketing and GTM teams to align messaging and campaigns with sales needs.
Work with Product and Business Transformation Office (BTO) to translate new offerings into actionable sales strategies and ensure smooth adoption.
Drive integration of external learning programs to elevate seller performance.
Growth Engagement
Participate in select in-market sales presentations with Sales VPs to gain insights and refine best practices.
Support professional, effective client-facing engagements and targeted customer entertainment activities as directed.
Knowledge & Professionalism
Maintain deep knowledge of Marathon Health’s operations, services, and product portfolio, specifically what makes a successful client.
Represent Marathon Health with professionalism, diplomacy, and tact in all interactions.
Contribute to annual GTM meetings, including agenda, content development and event execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field plus a minimum of 8 years’ experience with employer-sponsored healthcare or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience managing, coaching & developing members of a team, required. Previous experience selling group benefits preferred.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000/yr
The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
